Sister Catherine Partridge (f)

RN BSc

Sister Partridge is our Nurse Practitioner and able to treat most minor ailments such as ear, throat, wound, and some respiratory infections for example, mild chest infections, asthma exacerbations and sinusitis.Other infections such as fungal toenails, ingrown toenails, She will also treat skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and shingles, boils cyst etc.  Sister Partridge will also hold chronic disease clinics in Asthma, COPD, Diabetes and the Healthy Heart Clinic. She will also see patients requiring Sexual Health and Family Planning Advice and Emergency Contraception .  Sister Partridge is an extended Nurse Prescriber and can prescribe in any of these ailments or conditions if appropriate. This list is by no means exhaustive so if you are unsure whether you need to see Nurse or Doctor please ask reception staff when making your appointment.

The practice nurses hold morning and afternoon clinics.

Sister Ann Logan

Sister Logan will also hold the above chronic disease clinics. She is also responsible for all of our childhood immunisations. Travel advice, Cervical smears, injections and contraceptive advice are also part of her remit. Sister Logan is also able to deal with some minor ailments.

Nurse Patricia McLennan (f)

Nurse McLennan is our level 3 Health Care Assistant and usually your first point of contact when you join the Practice. She will carry out your New Patient Medical and will see patients requiring basic measurements such as Blood pressure, BMI, ECG, Ear syringing and blood tests.  She will also carry out basic wound dressings, suture and clip removals post operatively and wound checks.
