Welcome to Church Street
The doctors and staff at Church Street in Dunoon are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.
This practice has a Zero Tolerance Policy on aggressive or violent behaviour.
Church Street Surgery recently became a training practice for the medical students from University of Glasgow. Dr Saleem was successful in becoming a tutor for the Glasgow University medical students and he will be teaching the year 3 students at the medical school. We also will be training the future doctors in the practice and there will be a 4th or 5th year medical student attached to this practice. The student will be spending five weeks in the practice, getting to know the general practice in detail.
Vacancy at Church Street Surgery
Dr Bannuscher left the Church Street Surgery, we will have two doctors from 27th November 2017. We have advertised for Dr Bannuscher's replacement but we do not know when this will be filled. Currently there is a shortage of GPs in Scotland, recruitment has been challenging but we are hoping to find a right candidate.
