Other Services Available
Full contraceptive service (Excluding Coils and Implants) – see Practice nurse or GP.
Maternity services – Care is shared between GP and midwives at Cowal Community Hospital.
Diabetes Clinic - This clinic provides diabetic review for all diabetic patients, who can also self refer for dietary advice.
Asthma Clinic - All patients suffering from asthma are advised to attend this nurse led clinic
Elderly Patients – Those over 75 years of age are invited to see the doctor or practice nurse annually for a general health and wellbeing check.
Non-NHS Services – Medical examinations for special purposes may be undertaken by appointment. Medical certificates for insurance, passports etc. can be provided. All non-NHS services carry a fee.
Podiatry- Patients can self refer to the podiatry department, located at Cowal Community Hospital, by completing a form and handing it in to the hospital. The forms can be collected from either the hospital or from Church Street Surgery.
Physiotherapy- Patients can self refer to Physiotherapy. This service is run by the Musculoskeletal Assessment & Triage Service (MATS). To make a self referral please contact: 0800 917 9390.
